The pond and adjacent wildlife meadow area at Plumstead Green was renovated and restored between 2008 and 2011 by a small dedicated team of locals lead by David Ramsbotham.
The completed project won an award from the Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE) in 2011 for “The Renovation of Plumstead Pond and Surrounding Area”, and a North Norfolk District Council Environmental Award in the same year.
The progress of the project from inception to completion was documented by photographer Dave Chilvers, and the album below contains the completed work.
