Bug Hunt!

St Michael’s Church has joined ‘Churches Count on Nature’ week and invites all who can, especially children, to come and see how many bugs and interesting plants we can find in our churchyard. You are welcome to bring your own picnics, magnifying glasses, bug collecting pots and so on.

We will provide recording sheets, drinks, and shelter if necessary.

We also hope to be able to start building our first bug hotel, and you can help by bringing things to fill it, such as pine cones, hollow sticks, old canes, straw, wood chips, bark, dry leaves, bits of broken terrace pots, and your own ideas!
